FATAL INJURIES

The inquiry into the death of James Gowic, aged 63, who died in the Public Hospital on Tuesday evening, after having been run over by a taxi behind the tramway waiting sheda in Courtcnay pJaeu earlier in the evening, was concluded in tlie Magistrate's Court this morning before the Coroner (Mr. ,T. H. Salmon, S.M.). The iindinje was that; die deceased died in the Hospital as the result of being run over by a taxi-cab driven by Olaf Hansen, but that no blame was attachable to the driver, as the deceased was tying on his back in the street when the accident occurred.
