* Ati oracr lor tne rt-stitution of conjugal rights by his wife, Ellen Clara Tukos, was sought by John Thomas Tukcs in the Supremo" Court yesterday before Mr. Justice Smith. Mr. V. Jackson appeared for the petitioner, and Mr. O. C. Mazengai-b for the respondent. The parties were married in April, 1927, and a child was born in February last. After the birth of the child, tho respondent returned to livo with her parents. The motion was opposed on tlm ground that the petitioner had treated tho respondent with such conjugal unkiudness during tho year following tl>e marriage.that she was justified in not returning to him. • Decision was reserved.
