PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
A double programme Is now being presented at the Paramount Theatre. The first part is a colourful picturlsation of Major P. C. Wren's popular novel, "Beau Sabreur." "Beau Sabreur" is tho story of a young French officer who vows he will never look at another woman, but will devoto his life to work for tho good of his country. Evelyn Brent appears as Mary Vanbrugh, an American girl who becomes a pivotal point in a Sahara Desert tribal rebellion. Gary Cooper plays Henri Beaujolais, of the Foreign Legion, who Is transferred to secret service duty on tho vast Sahara. "The Plastic Age," the second feature of the programme, is an adaptation of Percy Jlarks's lively novel of collego life, with Clara Bow in the leading part. Tho bright accompanying music sup piled by tho Paramount Orchestra adds to the enjoyment of these tiro attractive pictures.
