BROOKLYN CLUB.

Last Wcflilesday the Brooklyn Club had one of Its old-time nights, the occasion being tho visit of two teams -from the city to try conclusions with the two B grado teams of Brooklyn. Tho shooting was not up to B grado standard, but the social part of tho evening was of the highest. The home teams wert successful in each match, after which both teams sat down to a very nice supper provided by the ladles. Mr. H. Beavls, on behalf of tho Brooklyn Club, expressed his appreciation of Hie sporting manner In which both matches were, fired. Mr. T. Chapman (Aotea) and Mr. W. A. Nicholson (Public Service) suitably responded.
