W.M.R.A.

The end of tho peason is now approaching. We are sorry to say It Is imposslblo to publish final figures this week for the B grade fixtures, owing to tho slowness of returns coming to hand from different clubs. We publish this week a table showing the A gracio result, with tho Hutt team on top. During tho season they scored 4273 points, which Rives them an average of nearly '175 per match and nearly G8 per man. Tho runners-up were the Suburbs team, who started oft very poorly, but were a flrstclass team at the end of the season, registering some very good scores. A llttlo earlier start with this club next season should sco them again knocking at the door, for they have the makings of a very fine team. During the season 2G possibles were registered by the A grade teams as follow: Hutt 4, Suburbs 4, V.W.M.C. 3, South No. 1 3, Brooklyn. South No. 2, Public Service, Hallways, Harbour Board, and Aotea 2 each. ! Tho B grade finished up the sections shoot last week, and although the full results arc not to hand It is certain that Hutt No. 1 and Harbour Board will flro off for tho shield. On tho figures to hand, 1). Emmcrson, of the Harbour Board team, is leading for tho B grade

i aggregate, being IT down over (Mclit shoots. Full details of this will bo published next weclc. At tho recent meeting of the executive it was decided to hold a raflle to help to raise funds to lit up the new range. This is now in full swing, and any club or supporter who would liko to assist may note that the secretary has still a fow books left to dispose oil. It should appeal to all clubs to give their best endeavours to sell as many tickets as possible, ami so assist the executive to put the new range in llrstclass order. Tho executives decided -to close the season with a social, and v special committee lias been set up to arrange matters. By all accounts a real pood night's enjoyment is bdn;; arranged.
