LONDON TO BUCHAREST
COMMERCIAL AIR TRAVEL
British Official Wireless. (Received 7th September, 11 a.m.) RUGBY,, 6th Sept. Flight-Lieutenant Seholefield left Brooklands at 5 o'clock this morning on an attempt to fly to Bucharest, over 1400 miles. He is flying a two-seater Vickers-Napier Vivid machine, and hopes to reach Bucharest to-night. He will inalce two halts, at Nuremburg and Belgrade. The purpose of the flight is to demonstrate to the Rumanian Government the capabilities of an airplane which is of all-British manufacture in competition with machines from Italy, France, and other countries. i
