DESIRE TO CHANGE SYSTEM (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post") PALMEESTON N., This Day. As an outcome of tho recent controversy on the rising cost of hospital adStration, the Palnierston North Borough Council circularised contributing loc.il bodies asking for expressions of opinion on the policy governing the administration of hospitals m New Zealand The -replies showed air* almost ■unanimous desire for a change, and m order to acquaint the Government with , the mind of the people on this matter it has been ararngod to send a deputation to tho Prime Minister and the Mimstci ° The Mayor of Palmerston North (Mr. A J. Graham), who is arranging the deputation, states that one of the questions which will receive prominence will be that of direct represenation for contributing local bodies on hospital boards. . Delegates from the interested bodies will meet in the City Council Chambers, Wellington, at 8 p.m. on 12th SoptomI ber to draw up their representations, and will-meet the Minister on the following morning at 10.30.
