SIR AUSTEN'S HEALTH TRIP

British Official Wireless. BTTGBY, 30th August. Sir Austen Chamberlain left Liverpool to-day on a voyage of convalescence to Bermuda and through West Indies to the Panama Canal. On the Pacific side he will proceed to San Francisco and afterwards to Vancouver and so across the Rockies to Montreal. It is expected that he will be away about ten weeks. The Foreign Secretary is making a satisfactory recovery from his illness, but it has been requested that to permit him the full benefit of a complete rest no public functions should be arranged for Mm during the tour.
