MISSION TO AUSTRALIA
LEADING BUSINESS MEN British Official Wireless. BUGBY, 30th August. Sir Arthur Duckham and other members of the Economic Commission, appointed by the Imperial Government at the request of the Australian Government to discuss questions relating to Australian development and trade, left London to-day for Marseilles, where they will join the steamship Mjoltan. Sir Arthur Duckham is closely associ: atod with the coal, iron, and steel trades and was at one time Director-General of Aircraft Production. The other members of the mission are: Sir Hugo Hirst, chairman and managing director of the General Electric Company; Sir Ernest Clark, director and finance adviser of tho underground railways; and Mr. Dougal Malcolm, director of tho British South Africa Company. The members expect to return to England iv about seven months.
