The service- was most,, impres"sivo from 'beginning to end, every member of tin Australian hierarchy and many from overseas being present. Tho servico was broadcasted by amplifiers and every word was plainly heard by crowds unable to enter. t MESSAGE FROM THE POPE. Cardinal Ceictti delivered a message from the Pope to the people of Australia in which Hi? Holiness states; — "Tel! my fay distant but well-beloved children in Australia that I shall. follow tho progress, of tho Congress day by day, and shall rojoico.! vith them i'or tho glory which will redound to the Sacred Host and for tUo graces which havo boon showered, down with abundance oii'this beloved1 land and on its sons and daughters.''
