LYALL BAY SCHOOL.
The LyaU Bay School Committee met on Monday night, Mr. J. C/Kiddell presiding. The headmaster (Mr. 0. A. Banner) reported • bn" the school b activities for1 the preceding month, and stated that arrangements for the school s exhibit for the forthcoming Winter Show were •well in hand. The committee congratulated the headmaster and school on : the choir s successful' effort to retain the shield for the second year in succession. A vote ot thanks was also accorded; to Mrs. L. M. Koss for her services as'accompanist. It was unanimously decided to co-oper-ate with the Home and School Association in requesting the Minister o£ Education to receive a deputation to press the. urgent need of securing improved and increased accommodation at the school. , t
