Mr. J. D. Kelly, third engineer .of the Kalrauga, lias transferred to the Kalapol in a similar capacity, relieving Mr. A. It. Grant for holiday leave. Mr. A. N. B. Smith has rejoined the Makura as second engineer in place of Mr. A. Thomson, who is standing by the Tahiti. Mr. J. G. Morrison, fifth engineer of the Makura, is ashore on holiday. His place has been taken by Mr. G. Porteous,
