WORSHIP OF THE HOST
EUCHARISTIC CEREMONY NEW ZEALANDERS OFFICIATE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, 29th August. For the first time in Australia Boinan Catholics will have the privilege of worshipping an exposed host, which will be inaugurated at St. Patrick's Church in the city by Cardinal Ceretti, Papal Legate, ou uth September. The privilege accorded St. Patrick's arises from the fact that the house- in which tlie 'Eucharist reposed for nearly two years in 181S, after the deportation of Father O'Flyim by Governor Macquaric, was contained in the grounds of St. Patrick's Church. St. Patrick's, therefore, becomes the Australian Catholics' national' shrine of perpetual adoration. The priests officiating will be all New Zealanders, mostly those formerly associated^ with St. Patrick's College, Wellington.
