With Jack Csrroll and Harry Casey reported to be In great form patrons at boxing should bo treated to a very fine exhibition when the two meet on Monday night. Carroll is tho welterweight champion of Australia, where ho has readied the top in close on record time, and from his performance In training since arriving here he should be very hard to beat. His speed and cleverness will appeal to all followers of the sport. In his last two performances in Australia he defeated the English visitor Tommy M'lnnis and later surprised everyone by accounting for Lewis, an importation by Stadiums, Ltd., from America. Casey lias undergone a very solid training preparation, and ho can be depended upon to fully extend the visitor as ho is recognised both in Australia and New Zealand as one of tho best welter weights in recent years. Tho four first-class preliminaries should bo well worth seeing. The box plan will closo on Monday afternoon. Tickets for early doors aro available as usual.
