SHORTT'S THEATRE.
Dolores Costello in "Old San Francisco" is tho attraction at Shortfs Theatre. It is a thrilling melodrama of-the colourful days before the "great flre." The story has to do with a Spanish heiress who is kidnapped^ by a half-caste boss of the underworld and offered for sale in a subterranean auction room. There is a story of love and unselfish devotion and the climax 'is the "great' fire" which ended the sway of the underworld. Dolores Costello is the star, and Warner Oland as the sinister boss is superb. Tho second picture is "That Certain Thing," a comedy-drama, featuring Viola Dana and Ralph Graves. There is a Kood supporting programme.
