MOISEIWITSCH.
It is announced that a farewell concert will bo' given in Wellington by Benno Moiseiwltsch, the famous pianist. Tho name of Moiseiwitseh is associated with many of the world's best composers, and ho has always been known as one of the best exponents of Chopin. However, he has not stopped at that, and now hiis won for himself a name as an interpreter of Beethoven, Debussy, Schubert, Wagner, and Liszt. He is, it is claimed, a master pianist who has a stupendous repertoire, keen Intellect, feeling, and sympathy, a" beautiful touch, and is a deep lover of the classics. He is also a romantic player, and ho attaches importance to the moderns.
