PORT NICHOLSON BAND.

The Port Nicholson Band needs no introduction to Wellington audiences, having gained an enviable reputation by reason of its recitals of consistently uniform excellence. For its crtmcqrt to-morrow night in the Grand Opera House a rare programme has been prepared The band has been fortunate In securing the services of Miss Hazel Fuller, who has toured Zealand with the Quality Performers and the Dandies, also toured Australia with the Merrymakers and no tho Fuller circuit. She has had a wide experience on the concert platform, and will sing "Amarella." Miss Grade Kcrr will be heard in "Rosa Mia." Little Billie Murphy, tho eleven-year-old violinist, will play Mlynarski's "Mazurka." Frank Bryant, tenor, vil bo heard in "Eleanore." Mr. Buck Buchanan, a saxophonist, who* is making his first appearance with us, will play. "Rudy Weldoft's Solo Saxophobia." A feature of the concert should be the appearance of the "Melodic Four," one of the finest male quartets hoard in Wellington. The quartet will sing "Tho Moon Man." Tho accompaniments will be in tho capabale hands of Mr. Norman Izett. The band Items have been carefully selected, and include the hymn, "Ncwchester"; overture, "Poet and Peasant"; descriptive fantasia, "In a Clock Store"; selection, "The Musical Switch"; and a stirring march, "Under the Allied Banners." With such a varied programme a full house is anticipated.
