In the latest financial year for which figures were available, 1925-26, there were 138 people with incomes of more than £100,000. 110 with more than £75,000, and 30S passing the £50,000 mark. In the strongest vaults in the world, situated in the Koyal Mint, London, bulI lion worth £70,000,000 is sometimes stored.
