The sisters screamed, and the father, aroused, ran. into the streej,' where a motor-ear,speed-ed away with the crying child. Twenty minutes later her body, beaten to'death with a hammer, also strangled and with teeth marks in the legs, was: deposited upon the front porch of her. own grandfather, the fiend escaping the second time.
