BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by Mr. T. E. Maunsell, S.M. For using unlicensed vehicles, Arthur N. "Nash, William H. Bowman, Norman H. Jack, John M. Johnston, William-Lewis, Erie F. O'Sullivan, Eric Worth, Roy J. Young, Edward G. Glennie, and Robert C. Ferguson were fined 10s each; and for a similar offence Eva Brown, Theodoue W. Woodward, and Percival S. Hodgson were ordered- to pay costs; only, 10s.; •■' ? Inglis Bros., Ltd., were fined £1 for allowing one of their employees to use an unlicensed car. Dangerous driving of a motor-cycle cost Allan J. Shaw £2 and Peter Bardebes £1. For leaving their cars unattended Francis C. Holmes, William Ives, and George Rough were fined 10s each. Arthur J. Bradshaw was fined 5s for not having his vehicle properly lighted. On a similar charge, and also for using a car without an endorsed certificate, Allan Bower Was fined 5s and 10s respectively. Montague S. Martin and Robert J. Tait were fined £1 and £1 10s respectively for failure to procure a driver's license. Failure to notify a change of ownership of a motor-car cost Hatriek and Co., Ltd., £2, and Fred W. Neale 10s. Robert N. Scott was fined £1, and John Mulheam £2 for failing to stop when requested. ' , , Caesar A. Marquis was fined £l,for not keeping to the left when passing a, vehicle; and for passing a stationary tramcar James D. M. M'lntyro was fined £1. A fine of £1 10s was imposed on Cyril R. Flett and one of £3 on William 11. Stevenson for speeding. Paul R. Stempa, for cranking a motorcar by hand with the retaining brake not j firmly engaged, was fined ss. Harold Walker was fined 10s for using an unlicensed motor-cycle.
