NATIONALIST VICTORY FENG ENTERS TSINAN-FU CAPITAL OF SHANTUNG Fnlted Press Association—By Electric Teltsrapb—Copyright. United Service. (Received 26th April, 2 p.m.) SHANGHAI, 25th April. Nationalist reports confirmed the story that Feng Yu-Hsiang entered Tsinan, the capital' of Shantung, on 24th April, following the complete annihilation of tho Northern army's Russian brigade. The Northern general, Chang Chung Chang, is fleeing by sea to Mukden. Chiang Kai Shek reports the capture of 125 cannon and 65,000 rifles. . ' Considerable anxiety is felt for the safety of foreigners who, disregarding Consular warnings, stayed. in Tsinan. It is believed that the city fell prior to the arrival of sufficient Japanese ' forces adequately to protect all foreigners. Dr. Walter Seymour, of the American Presbyterian Mission at Tsinanfu, which has now been in Southern hands since ten dags ago, is reported have been shot and killed on 16th or 17th April. The Nanking Government has issued a proclamation promising protection to foreigners under Nationalist jurisdiction.
