CANDIDATE FOR WAITOMO : A meeting of supporters of the United New Zealand Political Organis-ation-was held at Otorohanga on Friday last, delogatcs from Te Awamutu, Otorohauga, .and Te Kuiti being present. ■■' It was unanimously decided to adopt Mr. W. J. Brpadf oot, of Te Kuiti, as the official candidate for the Waitomo seat at the coming General Election. Br. Broadfoot addressed the gathoring, and in his speech covered" the principal points of his programme, chiefly referring to his land settlement policy. Mr. A. E. Davy, Dominion organiser for tho party, was also present, and addressed the gathering.'
