THE AUCKLAND TRIALS (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. The second Sunders Cup trial race was held yesterday afternoon, and Resulted in v win for Avalon by 2min 30sec from Jtona. The course was a. triangular one, and. the direction of the wind gave the boats a good .test in all. points of sailing; The race .was started at 5.30. The finishing times, wer.tr:'Aviiloit (J. Patrick), 6hr 13min 50sec;-. Ifaoa (A. E. Matthews):, 6hr 16min 2050 c,;. Queen March (A. H. Wilkinson), 6br. 18|nin Ssec^ Joan (W. J. Potter), Ohr. JSmin.Ssec; ..'•...'..'. The third, race will be sailed to-morrow between the, Kona':(who beat Avaloh-by sscc in the first trial)., and Avalon only.
