The annual picnic of the transport workers' organisations of Wellington will lie held at the Trontha.ni racecourse on Wednesday. The picnic commit too, of which Mr. )!. .1. .Seal, is secretary, has arranged a well-varied programme of sports, and adequate transport facilities will be provided. The Railway Department is inviting tenders for cable, etc., for the supply and delivery of further equipment for new workshops, and for lubricating and gas making oils, by advertisement in this issue.
