An additional street lamp is to be placed in Albany avenue. The new street off Sydenham road is to be knpwn as Eodney street, and one off Beading street is to be called Nowcombe crescent.

Tho council is,donating,,£.s^towards the,-funds of the Eastbourne Volunteer Fire Brigade in recognition of services rendered at recent fires at Day's Bay. Timber from the old bathing sheds at Seatoun iB to be used in tho construction of wind shelters on the beach.
The council will carry out the work of paying access roads and footpaths leading to the. Public 1 Hospital buildings, the charge to. the. -Hospital Board being cost,-plus. 10 per cent. ; Consideration is to be given in connection with the framing of next year's estimates to the extension of Eotherham terrace and to improvements to Jackson -and Devon streets.
