Mr. W. Goodfellow laft Wellington last evening for the North. The death is announced by cable from London to-day of Sir Robert Arundell Hudson, secretary of the Liberal Central Association since 1895, aged 63.' ■ At the last meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board, Captain B. M. Todd, who recently joined the pilot staff, was apponted an official pilot to the Harbour Board, his term of probation having been completed. Mr. Justice Sim left Wellington this afternoon for Auckland and Tc Awamutu to attend meetings of the Prisons Board. His Honour will preside at the Supreme Court sittings at Nelson on 6th December and at Blenheim on 13th December, returning to Dunedin a few days before Christmas.
