The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received the -following cab;« from its London office, dated;23rd September, advising Smithfield delivered prices at that date, movements, if any, in prices on the week are shown in parentheses:— New Zealand wethers and maidens: Canterbury quality, selected brands, 56-under 6%d, 57-64 6%d, 65-72 6d; other brands, 56-under 6%' d, 57-64 6d, 65-72 5%d. New Zealand ewes: 64-under 5%d: New Zealand Jambs: Canterbury quality, 36-under 9%d (up %d), 37-42 9%d (up %d), 43-50, B%d (up M.A), seconds 9%d (up %d); selected brands, 36-under, 9%d (up %d), 37-42 9d (up %d); other brands, first quality, 38-under 9%d (up %d), 37-42 B%d (up%d); second quality, 30-32 average 9%d (up %d).
