CRICKET TOURS
REQUEST TO ENGLAND

CHBISTCHTTBCH, 22nd Sept. The New Zealand Cricket Council touight decided to authorise its representative in England, Mr. Arthur Sims, to negotiate for the English team which will tour Australia next year to play two matches in New Zealand. The council also decided to cable the Australian Board of Control asking that tho programme of the English tour be framed to allow the inclusion of two New Zealand matches.
