CITY LOANS
INFORMATIVE ADDRESSES
The City Council as a whole was asked by the Mayor (Mr. Q. A. Tronp)' at the special meeting of the council held yesterday afternoon, to attend the> public meeting to be held on Tuesday] in the Concert Chamber of the Town: Hall, when addresses wonld be given, to .the ratepayers by Councillor* H. I), Bennett, W. H. Bennett, M. F. Luckiej and himself. There was a possibility; that members of tl\e City Council would be allowed to speak from the broadcasting station, and if that were arrange^ he hoped to see a Labour representative amongst the speakers.
