The New Zealand Rugby Union's Management Committee met last evening, Mr. b. S. Dean presiding. Others present were Messrs. A. C. Kitto, E. Wylie, H. S. Leith, C. L. Mullany, E. M'Kenzie, T. A. Fletcher, W. F. Hornig, and A. E. Neilson . (secretary). , Since Wairarapa had lost its provisional shield match with Manawhenua, no action was-taken regarding Taranaki's oil*- ijnge ? Wairarapa for a Eanfurly Eshield match on the 17th August. It was stated by Mr. M'Kenzie that Taranaki would play the match in any case • .Regarding a request by the East Coast Rugby Union for a ruling on the question of residence," it was decided to reply that players must declare the:.- place lyTtepjE. havlng done so must rJt? *PPhcati°n by G.
