The special committee, consisting of Messrs.Kinvig and Jordan and the Eev. Mr. Inglis, set up to inquire into urgent and necessitous cases requiring relief other than can be given to A and B grade men, is meeting each Tuesday and Friday. Since Friday the committee has been able to find special employment for seven applicants who could not undertake ordinary work, and at present has several more cases in hand. Applications for such special relief should be made to the Deputy Town Clerk, Town Hall, who will refer them on to the committee.
