GEAR MEAT COMPANY
Returns of the poll of shareholders, taken at the extraordinary meeting of the Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company yesterday, on the proposal to alter the articles of association of the company in respect to remuneration of chairman and directors, were declared at the adjourned meeting, and were as fellow:— For the resolution, 1235; against, 2367. Th 6 resolution was declared lost. It was stated in one place in the report of the meeting appearing in "The Post" last evening that the proposed remuneration of the directors should be £15,000. This was obviouslyincorrect, as the resolution stated clearly; the sum proposed was £1500. Also, by a technical slip, advocacy of preserving thfe'' "Milward tradition" was attributed tipDr. C.
