The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:—A sharp rise in ox and cow beef, with every prospect of a further rise within the next few weeks, prime ox maliing 32s per 1001b and prime cow and heifer. 2Ss. The market is very firm, with short supplies of both fat ewe and wether' mutton offering. Good prices for fat _ sheep are expected during the next two months. There has been a keen demand-for store sheep. A sharp rise has taken place for all classes of store cattle; Competition is keen for good dairy herds, also a good inquiry exists for choice springing heifers close to profit. Baeoners and porkers are easier, with fair competition for stores. • .
