The man who was knocked down by a motor-car on the Ilutt road on Saturday evening, receiving head injuries •■md being admitted to the Hospital in un. unconscious condition, lias been identified as Sydney Wenliaui. a single man, aged 37, who lives at 32, Sydney street, ■Petone. lie was reported to-day to have partially recovered consciousness, and to be out of danger. . .
