SOLDIER'S PENSION

DUNEDIN, This Day. After two appeals to the Pensions Appeal Board and twelve months' collection of. evidence, the Ecturncd Soldiers' Association has secured the'recognition that the illness of an exsoldier, ,who is now in hospital since 1921, is. attributable to war service. This means not only a retrospective pension, amounting to approximately £600, but also the provision for treatment during the whole period at the charge of the Department.
