AUCKLAND, This Day. 1 An outbreak of typhoid or enteric fever in the North Auckland district has been reported to the Health Department. Five members of a Maori family living at Kaikohe contracted the disease in a mild form last week, and are now isolated in the Bay of Islands Hospital. There are now six cases, in-s eluding three young nurses, in the Whangarei Hosiptal. It is believed that the nurses caught the fever from a Maori who was brought to she hospital and who was not suspectec. of having the disease. The nurses are Misses V. Potter, L. Hawkin, and A.
