A CAR RIFLED

PALMEBBTON N., This Day. When Mr. E. C. Brown (of reatherston street) went to get his car which he had left parked in Georgo street early on Saturday evening, he was astonished ,to find it missing. .The motor was practically a new one. Though- extensive inquiries were made, no trace of the missing vehicle could bo found until late last night, when the police were informed that the missing car had been discovered abandoned on the roadside near Rangiotu. The car was undamaged, but had been divested of its spare wheel, tools, and other movable appliances.
