ly -was-a wireless' message to the effect-that the vessel was delayed and -leaking slightly. In' consequence of this, it was decided to berth .the vessel, immediately upon her arrival in- port at 2 o'clock this afternoon. ,
As soon as.;the Vessel.arrived at the; wharf divers' equipment was taken aboard wjth a view to making an investigation of, the damage. Until the extent of the leak is ascertained, which will not be until later in tlie afternoon, no statement can be made as to the vessel's future movements. Under ordinary circumstances she will sail for 6anJFrancisco ; to-morrow afternoon.., The ;amount o£ water in the hold is understood to be comparatively, small.
