GREYMOTITH, This; Day. George Huia Brewer (21) was sentenced this morning by Magistrate Mr. Hewitt to six months' imprisonment for unlawfully converting two cars to his own use. It was stated that Brewer had been serving a term at Wellington. for theft and, had escaped in May last, making his way to Greymouth. William Mann '.(48), who was found ,in possession of a bottle «£ whisky stolen, from Kettle's Store, was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment. J_ *.~ '
