LEVELLING TO BE STARTED
A. definite start is to be made with levelling and formation work at Nairnville Park, Khandallah, within a few days, for the City Council has decided that the £400 offered by the Returned Soldiers' Association for the relief of returned men out of employ-, ment should, with certaiu other money, be spent in this work. The amount available will not ena.ble . KTairnville Park to be completed by a long way, but it will give it a good start. The £.400 from the E.S.A. is being subsidised 30s in the £ by the City Council, but not all of this amount can be spent at Khandallah. Izard Park, AVilton road, Which -was cut out of a hilltop by relief workers during the winter of 1925 and 1926, is now in regular use for Saturday matches
