The story concerns £100,000, the "heir to which is missing. A shady lawyer sees in George Wallace a resemblance to the heir, and gets him to pose as the missing man. George leaves his situation as porter and enters "society" to become a favourite with the ladies, and is just about to receive the money when the real heir arrives. Most of the fun-making falls to the lot of George Wallace. He is supported by an able cast. Tlip pieeu abounds iv humour, and there is graceful dancinj; and tuneful music.
