"The Lust of Mrs. Cheney" will be seen to-night and to-morrow input, the latter being really the last, for on Saturday "Brown Sugar" will be staged, and tho many admirers whom Miss Renrr Kelly has won in Wellington will see hr iii a third role. Meanwhile they are quite pleased with her "Mrs. Cheney," and witli Mr. Hylton Allen's masterful butler (a crook m disguise). The smart dialogue was particularly appreciated by the enthusiastic audience that gathered in the Grand Opera House last evening, and the revelations of the sins of society were accepted with becoming tolerance. Tho supporting company is particularly good, and the whole performance goes with a swing.
