BOY SCOUT RALLY.

To-morrow will be a great day at the Basin Reserve, when 1500 Boy Scouts will be taking part in the annual rally. The programme will be a varied one, including life saving, rope making, Scout games, wild animals, bandaging, physical exercises, singsongs, the Dance of Bagheera, the Dance of Kaa, the Dance of Shere Khan, and the tabaqui. His Excellency the GovernorGeneral will present the Earl Jellicoe Trident and the Aorangi Cup to the Collingwood Troop, the champion Sea Scout company of New Zealand. The Prime Minister, members of Cabinet, his Worship the Mayor, and other prominent citizens will be in attendance. Sixty cub packs and troops will be taking gart. Given fine weather a large attendance of the public is anticipated—if wet the Drill Hall, Buckle street, will be used.
