TO FACE THEFT CHARGE

To face a charge of breaking and entering Messrs. Stubbs and Miller's shop at Dannevirke on 2nd February this year, Guthrie Smith arrived in Wellington to-day by the Ulima a from Sydney, under escort of Detective H. Nuttal, who has been on extradition duty. Jewellery worth £2658 was involved in the theft.
