CANTERBURY V. WELLINGTON
The Brabin Shield match between the junior representatives of Canterbury and Wellington was continued at the Basin Reserve to-day. Wellington's second innings realised 201 runs, Keenan carrying his bat for 62. Hamilton, Ward, and M'Donald helped the score along with smaller contributions. During the concluding stages of the innings, Cofr'ey (Canterbury) took another fine catch in the outfield. Canterbury required 317 runs to be on terms with the homo team, and at the luncheon adjournment had made 39 for the loss of two wickets. Ward's nine overs included six maidens. Details:— WELLINGTON.
