Ihe Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company is notified by cable from its London offiw, dated 16th March, as follows:—

''Butter—New Zealand, prices reduced to^ restore demand, 146s to 148s per cwt. "Cheese—Same applies, 76s to 78s lier cwt." *

The prices last week wore: Butter 162s to 1645; cheese, 84s to 85s. The fall in butter is 16s per cwt, and in cheese 7s to Bs. Unsalted butter last week was 168s to 170s.
