MOTOR VEHICLES
BEGISTRATIONS TO DATE
The registration of motor vehicle in use in the Dominion up to the end of February show that they have increased to 159,972. At the end of January the figures were 157,743. Particulars of the returns of last month have been supplied by the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon R F Bollard) as follows:—
North Island: Cars, 64,564; trucks, etc. 15,551; cycles, 18,869; total, 98,934.
South Island: Cars, 39,927; trucks, etc., 6876; cycles, 14,185; total 60,988.
