FEILDING, This Day. The Eoyal train was stopped at Feilding, though no stop was scheduled, and the Duke and Duchess were welcomed by the Mayor (Mr. Cai-their), Mr. L. T. M'Lean (chairman of the Kiwitea County Council), and Mr. A. Campbell (chairman of the Oroua County Council). The Duchess was presented with a bouquet by the little daughter of the Mayor. Fifteen hundred school children in their school uniforms, a hundred Girl Guides, and the same i 'imber of Boy Scot with returned soldiers and several thousand residents of the town and district, gave the visitors a rousing welcome.
