OPEN-AIR BAND CONCERT.

The Queen Alexandra's Own Band, of Wanganui, winners of the two test selection competitions in the New Zealand contest which concluded to-day, will give an open-air concert at the Oriental Bay rotunda at 8.15 p.m. to-morrow. At tl:«s request of a number of visiting bandsmen, the programme will include the two test pieces, "Lortzing" aud "Gounod," as well as many other fine band items, and cornet and trombone solos.
