KORTLANG AND BADCOCK The first boundary hits made by J. B. Kortlang and F. T. Badeoek during Wellington '£■ innings against Melbourne yesterday gave each batsman a-four-figuro aggregate for the season. The achievement is unique in the history of Wellington cricket. Kortlang has scored his runs at the remarkably fine average of 78 per innings, while Badcock has averaged almost 50 per innings. In club cricket Kortlang has made a double century and Badeoek three centuries. Kortland's century yesterday was his third of tho season in representative cricket. ■ Badcock 'has scored one century in representative cricket. The figures for the two players are:—
